Revving Up for the New Year

With this month’s Awards program and Golf outing, and the conclusion of The CSI Show in Chicago, it may appear that our CSI program year is coasting toward the finish line with the CSI University in Philadelphia. Not so! Current and incoming Board members and committee chairs are already beginning to complete the task of planning for next year’s events. Each year your Chapter leaders meet in a strategic planning session to help identify challenges and goals to chart a course of Chapter direction for the next five years. This process enables our committees to streamline their efforts to deliver programs and events that provide the greatest benefit to the membership. During the course of the month, the committee chairs and Board will gather for an afternoon to start plotting a course of action that will take the Chapter through its 50th Anniversary. With all of this planning, there is still room for tweaking our goals as time brings the new year into sharp focus.

Our annual Awards program is an opportunity for the Chapter to recognize individuals that have given service to benefit the Chapter over the past year. The Chapter and your fellow members began to receive recognition last month at The CSI Show.
